I think it's a bit rude to come here and expect everyone to just vomit all their knowledge and experiences at you. Especially when you're not even asking anything in specific.

I think it would be a lot better if you just took your time and read a lot here, you'll find all the info you're looking for,

Totally agree. Not so sound sarcastic or anything OP, but you really need to do some reading on your own. Don't feel like putting the effort into reading? There are hundreds of videos of the 18' and 19' Mustang on YouTube. Try asking a specific question here and you will get a specific answer. Being that this is a Mustang enthusiast message board, you will find that about 99.9% of us here love our cars.

I understand what the OP is asking. Most of us on here are S550 owners so why not go straight to the source and ask for impressions from multiple individuals? .
Great breakdown, the multiple 460hp ffs bits made me ggigle :p

Hi everyone, I was recently rear ended and my car was deemed a total loss. I am looking at a 2019 mustang gt fastback 6-speed. I am interested to hear the opinions of owners, should I buy this car or should I look for something else? Hit me with the good, the bad and everything in between that a new owner might need to know.
What do you do in your car..? If we knew that, we could help guide you.

The car I am coming from was a 2018 Honda civic si running E37 putting down 417whp with a garret gen 2 GT2867R, I was rear ended last Friday on my way to work. I am in the process of getting a whipple lfp 800 from lebanon ford performance since they are within driving distance of me.

I understand what the OP is asking. Most of us on here are S550 owners so why not go straight to the source and ask for impressions from multiple individuals? What would he search anyway? "whats owning a S550 like?" "S550 pro's and con's?" Yeah he could do preliminary research but honestly I'd rather hear it from somebody in the form of an opinion. Y'know with some personality behind it. Let's take it easy here boys no reason to get excited.

Pro's: Stupid fast IMO. Handles remarkably well in the corners, and feels far more nimble than you'd expect, sharp turn in response. Interior feels special even with some cheap plastic parts here and there. All the modern tech you'd expect in a new car. The exhaust note itself has been nominated for grammys and can be changed infinitely with aftermarket mods. The car looks incredible from any angle. 460hp ffs. Did I mention how sexy it looks? At least once a day I've got someone craning their neck to get a good look at it as I'm going by. Decent trunk space for a sports car, and with rear folding seats I've fit an entire track days worth of gear for two cars inside. I've heard the new A10 trans is fantastic. 460hp ffs. Sync 3 system with apple play and the android whatever its called. Change the brake fluid and leave the summer tires on and you've got a bonafide track car ready to go. The front seats are buckets so it feels like your getting hugged all the time. which is especially nice if you don't get alot of hugs. The exhaust sounds like a polar bear walked into a regular bear bar and started a bar fight. Traction control handles a Chicago winter without a problem, didn't get stuck once. 460hp ffs. Hidden sunglass drawer on the drivers side. Huge brakes (almost too powerful when you forget how powerful they are). Revs out to 7.5k RPM bc its awesome. Sexy car all around, Disgusting amount of stock power, handles like a proper sports car, and a perfect cruising car.

Con's: Some minor engine noises you may not even notice. 3-4 shift forks have broken for a few people, some people don't like the clutch spring but it's really not all that bad. Every BRZ/FRS on the highway will pull up next to you and try to get you to have a go with them. (which is adorable.) non-premium has a dial pad next to the 4" lcd screen (Don't know what ford was thinkin). It's nearly impossible to do the speed limit. Cops will notice you more.
This right here is what I came for, I can't thank you enough for this. I am a fellow Chicagoan so that really hits close to home since that was one of my big worries was our insanely bi polar weather.

Too bad about the modded Si. Hopefully the LPF 800 goes thru! Sounds like 460HP wasn't FFS-ed enough

I think you'll find the boosted Coyote to be a bit more punchy than the Civic. The low rpm torque will press you back in your seat a tad bit more.

No worries buddy. Yeah weather was pretty gnarly but get a set of blizzaks LM-32's and you can still do 3k Clutch drops. If you go with the S550 (and you should) let me know. I'd trade a beer for a ride along in a SC GT lol.

P.S Did you get hit on I-55 S before Harlem?

Lololol I love how often Nova judges people for the simplest of things. it's rude to come into a forum and get others opinions. On a forum. On the internet .about cars. Fucking rude.

If I pissed on your parade I'd at least buy you a beer to apologize.:beer::crackup:
Nova does this on multiple threads. Probably to get people going and looking at this thread it worked pretty well.
There's a few on this forum that are simply ignored by me...he's one of them.

OP - great questions! You'll get a lot of good feedback from the majority of the folks here. My best advice is to simply go out and drive one.

Damn that sucks buddy. Keep us posted if you go with the LFP 800. Also, again, I'll buy ya a beer in exchange for a ride along lol. I live right off of I-55.
I work right by midway so I would have no problem giving you a ride if all goes as planned and I end up with it.
