It does look like critter piss, but does not have any odor like urine. It is oily to the touch. Looks a little to yellow to be engine oil, but I could be wrong.
Nice day so I pulled the car out of the garage for the first time since November.
I noticed some yellowish oily fluid on the garage floor. Not sure what this is. Automatic trans fluid?
Is the car safe to drive? I took it around the block and didn't get any warning lights on the dash.
I...
Yeah, it goes on like regular paint. Be warned, this stuff has a STRONG smell to it when you spray it, stronger than normal paint. The smell goes away though. Be in a well ventilated area when you use it.

It takes a lot of careful masking to get it done right. There is a black backing paint that you spray on it after it drys. I do the chrome trim first. If I am using any black paint on the body, I...
I don't know anything about a political split. That must have happened before I got back into the hobby. I race at HTSC and Omega. I get along with everyone at both tracks and both of them is a lot of fun. I will try to run the B6.3 at Parkside sometime this year.
Onroad is a lot of fun...
That looks like Parkside. I've only stopped there on a race day but have never actually raced there. I'm usually at Hobbytown St. Charles or Omega in Melrose Park. I'm more of an onroad guy these days. There are two more tracks opening up sometime later this year. One in Morris and the...
Got back into the hobby during covid. I race Vintage Trans Am, Tamiya Euro Truck, Tamiya Mini, and just getting into the USGT class. I got a ton more pics if anyone wants to see them.
Always wanted to buy a new convertible. Sold my 1965 Mustang coupe two years prior and I was done with project cars in general. Was about to order a 17' until we saw the announcement of the 18 so we waited a year and saved up a bit more. Wife and I were sold on the Royal Crimson color when we...
Tamiya kits have been around a long time. When I was 10 my father and I build a Tamiya hornet off road buggy. Had a lot of fun with it. The RC hobby has changed drastically. If I had a spare 650.00 laying around I'd buy this one:
Just a follow up on my experiance with the Chemical Guy's convertible top protectant....
I rinsed the car down and made sure to rinse the top. It seemed like water beaded up a little in some areas and not in others. Overall, I'm a bid dissapointed. I'm unsure if I need to apply more or just...
