I took an almost 600 mile round trip to have Big Worm install my stripes and blackouts. I averaged 22.5mpg for the whole trip. It's interesting, I noticed that at 65mph on the highway I was at 24.5mpg and climbing. As soon as I went over 70 it would drop. At 80-85 (which I ran for a long time) it would drop even faster. Overall I'm happy with 22.5 especially with 3.73's and the fact that I was in bumper to bumper traffic for around an hour on the way home through Houston.
Got any pics of your stripes?

Speaking solely for myself and not other EB owners....I bought an EB because its our DD with my wife driving it 90% of the time....it had nothing to with MPG or $$$...Coming from a 170HP Scion Tc and knowing my wife I just didn't want her in a 400+ HP car.....after 3000 miles I'm finally averaging above 20MPG....
Awesome! Moved up to my GT from a 2007 Scion tC 5-speed with the factory TRD exhaust - great cars. Had to swap out my stock exhaust for a Magnaflow catback, though, because my tC actually sounded better.

Update: 24 mpg cruising at 75ish mph. That is with 20-30 minutes of crawling in traffic. 0-10 mph. This was going from Charleston to, just into, Virginia where I stopped for gas.

From that point, driving into Pasadena, MD. Going the posted speed limits 60mph to 70mph. Maybe going a couple over (i literally only mean going a couple over lol) at some points. Mostly around 65. My average was 27.5 mpg when I parked my car in my dads driveway at half a tank. Had I had another 200 miles to go, I would have gotten over 400 miles to this tank.

My current mileage is just over 7k. For this trip the on board MPG monitor was dead on accurate

Oh yea and on 87. I use 87 on these road trips as I am using quite a few tanks of gas in a short period of time. With the 5.0 I have observed that you do indeed get better gas mileage with 87 over 93. Next time I do this trip I will strictly use 93 just out of curiosity to give you an update. But I have found it much easier to get better gas mileage on 87. This was not the case with my old Focus. It got better mileage on 93

65 mph seems to be the sweet spot with PP. At least at highway speeds (dropping to 60 mph didn't seem to make much of a difference). Seems to yield 27-28 mpg. 70 mph seems to yield 26-27. 75 was yielding 24-25.

During the winter, with about half the miles I have, it was unthinkable that I'd be hitting these numbers. But they are looking pretty good and I am happy with them.

Another thing. Air Conditioning use appears to have a negligible effect on gas mileage. It really doesn't seem to effect it very much. Maybe .5 to 1.0 mpg. Very impressive compared to what I'm used to with the GTI. The GTI would drop about 15% or so.

Most modern cars are designed aerodynamically to be much more efficient with the windows closed. For more than twenty years, I have consistently gotten better mileage with the windows closed and the A/C running. My mpg's usually drop at least 1 mpg or more driving with the windows open. My little Toyota Yaris drops at least 5 mpg or more at highway speeds with the windows open.

Here's my video of my averages after heavily modding and tuning:

Really, it hasn't gone up or down from stock.

I've been averaging about 14 in 75% city driving. I look forward to red lights...

Drove up to Vegas this past weekend and averaged 25.0 on the way up, mostly on cruise at 73 but some limited "spirited" driving. I was up to 26.0 at one point but I wanted to have some fun. Averaged 24.0 for the round trip, but I was much more aggressive on the way back.

I have a EB Premium with an Auto; I do about 60/40 mix and I'm on my third tank with a solid avg of 25mpg. Really not bad for DD with some nice performace.

Averaging 18.6 in my EB, I do pretty much no highway driving so it's all city and shorter style trips. I guess that's pretty good... I definitely drive spirited, there are certainly no super slow economical accelerations here

I'm driving from Maryland to Indiana at the end of the month -- I'll post updates -- it should significantly boost my average -- but then again, with all those country roads, and then flat parts in the upper 3/4 of the state, I might get carried away ;). I put cruise on at 59 in 55's, and 65 in 65's when possible -- I keep my ego out of it and let everyone pass until I get boxed in and can't keep my cruise. At that point, I drop a gear or two, mash the pedal, shoot up to X and pass everyone. If you have the discipline to stay in cruise and let people pass, the highway mileage is pretty awesome -- even with the GT PP.

Depending on the temperature, staying under 60 is key, as it's a tipping point for optimal mileage -- parasitic drag builds exponentially above that. This applies to a 59 degree "standard" temperature -- higher temps move the tipping point up, but not by a whole lot.

I drove to Austin last weekend, only had 300 miles on the car, made 24 mpg driving about 75ish. Should improve after break in
