421 to the tank?! or did you not reset it? Im guessing you didnt reset it since your MPG is low
Same commute and got 30.5mpg todaymy short 7mile commute to work on the highway nets me about 30mpg, 29.5 today due to slower traffic and rain, in my GT with 3.55, cruise set to 60mph
When I picked up the car from the dealer, it had 140 miles on it and read 11 MPG. I decided to see how much it would go up before I reset it. Took a week (I got the car a week ago today) to get up to 13.5 MPG. Today I reset it while traveling on the highway to work. Now it reads 25.3 MPG.421 to the tank?! or did you not reset it? Nothing like the Texas flat lands for gas mileage.GT Premium with PP - 8 hour round-trip to East Texas and back to Central Texas last weekend - 26MPG average! regular unleaded.
I usually put in premium and with driving her like a mustang GT should be...eh-um....i still get 18-19! Happy Mustang owner here![]()
East TX not so flat. West TX, yes, but if you hit a headwind in West TX, you'll feel it.Nothing like the Texas flat lands for gas mileage.
It wasnt that flat coming from fort worth to El paso... It was pretty damn hilly and some mountains.. well, almost mountains...lol there were some considerable grades all the way to the border patrol checkpointEast TX not so flat. West TX, yes, but if you hit a headwind in West TX, you'll feel it.
From El Paso to Midland-Odessa is fairly flat, but go further north and take 287-to-I40 from Wichita Falls to the NM border. Been caught in multiple dust storms out that way.It wasnt that flat coming from fort worth to El paso... Not flat, as everyone has already confirmed. And also not driving at 60....or 70....Nothing like the Texas flat lands for gas mileage.
