3rd day - i am sitting at 16.3 MPG. i sit behind WAY too many trucks on the way to work...

The road from my home to the freeway starts out flat, becomes hilly, goes through a town with an oppressively low speed limit, with an oppressively intimidating looking state trooper sitting at the corner, who is just itching to get me, i am sure.

This weekend when i am free from the bonds of my oppressively ever present job, i will see how well the throttle works on a back country road.
Elvira will sing on those back country roads.

I will give you a spoiler... the throttle works really well.

I've had mine since 10/15. Drove to Ft Worth to pick it - about 3 hours drive. Needless to say, we had the best ride home! Two days later we took a road trip to East Texas and came home with a little over 700 miles on it. (As advised by our performance crew at Central Texas Performance, Jeff suggested we get at least 700 miles in order to get the tune done when exhaust, intake, and lowering springs come in).

We have kept it average at 20MPG. I'm so impressed! And this is NOT driving like Ms. Daisy. I like to get to the speed limit as fast as possible.:headbang::ford::clap2:

We have GT PP Manual - Magnetic.

75% city, 25% highway. 93 octane, 3.35 gears.

More city than the last two tanks, but the mileage has been about the same. Good.

I have about 150mi on the first tank of 87oct from the dealer and the computer is reading 21.5mpg average (3.55 gears). This is mostly suburbs getting into 6th gear at about 40mph and cruising to giving people test drives and testing out the tires and 0-60 :). I'll be sure to update this and really push the car in terms of MPG, I think I can get at least 27mpg out of this on the highway.

This is fantastically good. I reset the MPG meter just as I got onto the highway to drive the 20 - 30 miles to my dealership. I turned on Adaptive Cruise and set it at 74MPH. This was the result, even after a slowdown and being forced back into 5th gear for a few minutes on the way. This is in a GT PP with all options except Recaro's and Nav, so basically the heaviest thing you can get. At least 3 MPG better than my 2013 with A/T (3.15's) on 235/xx/18's.

BTW, I have no idea why the picture is showing as sideways. It's got the correct orientation on my end before attaching it. All the others I've posted have matched the orientation. Strange.
