Yep, but this thread is to help people see what people are getting and how it could influence their decision making in manual, auto, gears, PP, etc.
Yup ... but again it confuses them more.. bec 3 guys with same cars with same PP and manual, in 3 different regions are posting MPGs as 15.6, 22.3 and i saw one with 19.

All claim to be in city. SO how can someone make up ones mind.

Logic is plain n simple:

1. You want mileage and if u drive in city too much or highway go for Auto.

2. You care a little less about mileage go for manual.

3. If you want all fun , and mileage is not a factor go for for PP+manual.

I have auto , yet i miss having manual sometimes that's why i always use paddle shifters

Cruising around 78mph or so on my travels up 95 to maryland, then to Erie, PA. I averaged 22mpg hand calculated on the full tanks w/ about 100% highway. Some of the time I went a little faster but not too often. Cruising around 70 or so, an easy 24+ mpg according to the computer. I just couldn't keep it at that speed for long lol :D Oh and I only used 87 for the trip to save a little money.

With about 4300 miles my computer average is 17.4 mpg

Most of my driving around here is quite spirited and I don't shift much anymore. Maybe once gas prices start scaring me again I'll start getting good gas mileage again  It's probably under 15mpg. I haven't reset the computer yet since after my trip. It was at about 18mpg now it's just over 15 lol

Anywho, my computer seems to only read about .5 mpg high compared to and calculating it.

So 14.X with nothing but stop light, start and go traffic? That's not bad, 3.55's might improve slightly on that since the engine will not have to wind up as much and as long.

I'm already keeping an eye on fleaby for somebody to total/part out a GT/PP so I can get 3.55s and a torsen.

Automatic GT Premium with 3.15 gears. Only 175 miles on the odometer but my average is 15.4 mpg with 75% town driving. Using the mpg gauge with the green instant fuel rate bar is like a little game. Only started playing it the past 24 hours but I went up 1.5 mpg

highest ive seen my mixed mpg today, 18.1, after 1000 miles. and i wasn't even babying it today. waze took me on a different route so i was cruising between 80-95mph in 6th for 12 miles each way, the rest of the 30 miles each way is mixed 50/50 highway/city.

Be mindful of the Torsen diff, it's not as good or durable for straight line acceleration and will hurt your fuel economy. Your better bet is just swapping in 3.55's.

There are different types of "city" driving. For the fun of it, I reset my fuel meter this morning before I drove to work and tracked the trip... on my six-mile commute I got 5.1 mpg according to the trip computer. It was a reasonably typical commute for me; my speed topped out at 35 mph, but only for a few seconds; almost all of the commute was below 25 mph. The total trip took 43 minutes. Was stopped at 15 red lights, and had a moderate-but-not-heavy amount of traffic elsewhere.

Other people's definition of "city" traffic may be different.

Thats exactly what i had posted before this, that people vary in driving styles, cities they live, weather conditions blah blah

18mpg by calculator... miles on trip computer divided by fuel put in(full) trip computer said 19mpg very mixed driving both highway and city 60-75mph and 30/40mph respectively...some spirited driving and a spin out a few times GT/PP. Not too shabby at all, actually was surprised given the increased spirited driving... Only 2196 miles on the odometer
