About 14mpg on my first tank which I think is impressive considering the hoonage. The second tank is at about 16 and I'm at about half a tank with very slightly more conservative driving. It's not my DD so when I take her out I'm generally not hypermiling to work lol.

Almost done with my second tank and it reads 13.5 now. Almost all LA city driving, barely any highway.

First tank: 23.6 on the computer, 22.8 by the calculator, almost all highway but with three climbs to 3,200 feet and back to sea level (welcome to my commute!), burning the 91-octane the dealer bought me.

Tank 2: about half gone with 22.9 on the computer. Exploring Sport mode and not driving as easy. About 10% City.

And then the fun part. Got my first steady-state cruise control readings today. About 29 mpg for 25 minutes at 65. And the kicker, from this morning. 10 miles on cruise at 60 mph, stuck in slow traffic on a busy two-lane. 33 mpg, LOL! That's just crazy.

This is a GT Premium AT with 3.15 gears. Not going to do that all the time, but it will be a pleasure on long trips.

Has anyone figured out the optimal HWY speed for these cars with select gearing (3.15,3.55,3.73?

The 3.15 will keep you at 2000 rpm @70 mph. You'll be looking at mid 20's mpg with a auto.

I have 3.55 with a 6M and 60mph has be at about 1750 rpm. I know in the past 55mph was the best for highway MPG but that was based on old 4 speed autos and 5 speed manuals. Does lower RPM net better MPG or does the car seem to do better at 2k rpm than 1500-1750 rpm?

Anytime you can lower the rpm and stay in the engines power band your mileage will increase. I have noticed on this engine you get dimenishing results after 2000 rpm.

WTF Over! my first 2 tanks were 13-14 mpg, I'm half way through my third and I'm at 16.3 MPG of course I have done no interstate driving at all, it's all state highways with lights.

Very preliminary:
2015 V6, automatic, 3.15 ratio
Temperature - 33 degrees
Miles on speedo at start of trip - 150
Gas - 87 octane with 10% ethanol
Distance - 90 miles
Conditions - four-lane highway, hilly, intermittent small towns and stoplights
Load - driver plus full load filling back seat area and trunk, about 300 pounds
Cruise control setting - 65 mph
Mileage at trip end - 30.9 MPG average, trip indicator

Plan to do a manual check after 1,000 miles.

Dude that is nuts. Is there that much of a difference in MPG between the 3.15s and 3.55s (Dabko has 3.55s in an auto GT).

I have an auto GT prem with the 3.55 gears and 20" wheels. Drive it mainly in sport and almost all city: about 15MPG lol. I was getting 23-24 on highway but didn't do cruise control or clock it inside smaller windows.
