The more likely scenario is that they use published performance figures to tweak the vehicles in the game, but if they're not published, they just guess. Using "like" cars for which they do have numbers, they could come up with rudimentary estimates to program into the game.

Driving the car in the game is actually a little disappointing compared to other models, but perhaps I spent too much time racing Formula Fords in the game. :D

I'll take a stab/guess.... I hope I'm wrong and it's a bit quicker. :D

0-60 mph = 3.9 secs
1/4 mile in 11.9 secs

Guessing the same but I don't think it will be any quicker. Needs to be quicker than the new SS.

The ATS-V has a broader tq curve, for sure but there's potential for the GT350 to surprise. Wouldn't you crap if it ended up something like 3.7 and 11.7??

I think the GT350 engine and chassis could be capable of faster than 4.0, but the current gearing is not set up for fast 0-60. Right now first tops out in the 50s mph, which means you aren't getting the benefit of no shifts between 0 and 60, and you also aren't getting as much torque multiplication off the line as you could have with steeper gears. I get it; the car is set up for the road course, not for 0-60 times.

With gear and a tire, you could make the car super fast 0-60. You might not even need a tire. Changing the gearing might slow the car down on some road courses, though (more shifting).

Since he said it would mean more shifting on the road course, he's talking about a shorter ratio, which would mean more torque multiplication.
