It is always tough to justify jumping into a mid cycle refresh after a few years of ownership on a particular model. I was unable to justify the jump to an M2 after owning a m235i, just not enough separation to justify for me. Had BMW gone with a detuned m3/m4 engine would have made it much...
I've not noticed this hunting around with my 8 speed auto. Not sure on all the driving modes the mustang will have, I would expect a sports mode, sports + or track mode to curb the gear hunting and force it to hold gear through higher rpms. Worse case is one would have to switch into manual...
You should not expect any less service. I would find the best deal and than I would service with the one most convenient to me, unless they give me a reason not too. You should have quite a few options in the dfw metroplex.
Your going to have to weigh your own pros and cons and decide which makes the most sense for you. Despite the manual being tons more fun and engaging, I am down for a 2018 10 speed in the fall.
Did the OP gives us alternative facts? Certainly not all the facts. Tough break OP,
I have a dream to one day buy I car I don't feel the need to mod. I am hoping my 2018 GT is that car. You know it is going to smoke the ss out of the box this go around. I'm content with that.
Off button definitely required.
I have collision detection warning on my current ride but it does not engage the brakes. The visual warning is the first to engage, I pretty much ignore that since that pops in rush hour traffic, if the audible warning goes off, collision is imminent. It...
I have never driven a boosted GT but I have driven a Gt350 and that is one special vehicle which will have you grinning ear to ear every time you drive it.
I would think you could get a much better deal on a gt pp. I would opt for the gt350, it will also hold better value down the road.
would a 3.9 zero - 60 and a 12 flat 1/4 make it worth it? I would hold out for the performance numbers and factor that into the equation.
I think the 18 is worth it, even more so if your looking for an auto, deals will be popping soon enough.
I just don't see the 470. saw the 1964.5 but no 470.
All this 470 talk has got me pretty geeked about my future ride. Anything over 455 is gravy to me.
The 2018 updates are sounding pretty good to me, I would hold out for a 2018.
I'm planning on getting an A10 GT Premium this fall, mag ride and all the goodies, can't wait.
Looks like the 6th gen is a complete bust. Priced it too high to attract repeat buyers, styling not updated enough to attract new buyers.
Ford on the other hand delivered styling that grows on you vs styling that has grown stale.
The scary thing for the Camaro is its continued downward...
No, that is the 2017 m240i stats you can order Today that is replacing the m235i. Some M2 owners are pissed as a result, M2 certainly wins at the track, drivers race everywhere else with the m240i having more available torque across the band. M2 could see an engine upgrade for MY2018...
The 2 series has been one of the most reliable platforms for BMW, I think they got that one right.
Take a peak at the NHTSA data for a 2015 m235i, zero recalls, zero complaints, 1 complaint for a 2014. Mustang sells a lot more but you will see 39 recalls and couple hundred complaints for...
