  1. Consolidated My Thoughts On The 2018 Mustang

It is always tough to justify jumping into a mid cycle refresh after a few years of ownership on a particular model. I was unable to justify the jump to an M2 after owning a m235i, just not enough separation to justify for me. Had BMW gone with a detuned m3/m4 engine would have made it much...
  2. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

That looks like an engine icon by that 465. I'm with you on the 465.
  3. For all the '18 10 speed versus 6 speed manual debates

I've not noticed this hunting around with my 8 speed auto. Not sure on all the driving modes the mustang will have, I would expect a sports mode, sports + or track mode to curb the gear hunting and force it to hold gear through higher rpms. Worse case is one would have to switch into manual...
  4. Buying at one dealership, servicing at another. What should I expect?

You should not expect any less service. I would find the best deal and than I would service with the one most convenient to me, unless they give me a reason not too. You should have quite a few options in the dfw metroplex.
  5. New here and looking to get a 5.0.....Auto or Manual?

Bumper to bumper extra work, Sunday drives extra fun. I think the 2018 A10 is going to narrow that fun gap with the manual.
  6. New here and looking to get a 5.0.....Auto or Manual?

Your going to have to weigh your own pros and cons and decide which makes the most sense for you. Despite the manual being tons more fun and engaging, I am down for a 2018 10 speed in the fall.
  7. WARRANTY BEWARE

Did the OP gives us alternative facts? Certainly not all the facts. Tough break OP, I have a dream to one day buy I car I don't feel the need to mod. I am hoping my 2018 GT is that car. You know it is going to smoke the ss out of the box this go around. I'm content with that.
  8. Pedestrian Protection in 2018

Off button definitely required. I have collision detection warning on my current ride but it does not engage the brakes. The visual warning is the first to engage, I pretty much ignore that since that pops in rush hour traffic, if the audible warning goes off, collision is imminent. It...
  9. FI GT or GT350??

I have never driven a boosted GT but I have driven a Gt350 and that is one special vehicle which will have you grinning ear to ear every time you drive it. I would think you could get a much better deal on a gt pp. I would opt for the gt350, it will also hold better value down the road.
  10. How much more is 18 worth?

would a 3.9 zero - 60 and a 12 flat 1/4 make it worth it? I would hold out for the performance numbers and factor that into the equation. I think the 18 is worth it, even more so if your looking for an auto, deals will be popping soon enough.
  11. Torn between 2017 GT Premium, 2018 GT Premium, 2017 Focus RS

^^^This Test drove a bunch of cars, gt350 was my favorite, but once the 2018 upgrades/options were announced my decision was sealed.
  12. POLL: Guess MY18 Power Level!

I see it now, Greater than 455 is starting to make more sense.
  13. POLL: Guess MY18 Power Level!

I just don't see the 470. saw the 1964.5 but no 470. All this 470 talk has got me pretty geeked about my future ride. Anything over 455 is gravy to me.
  14. 2017 or 2018 Stang - Decisions, Decisions

The 2018 updates are sounding pretty good to me, I would hold out for a 2018. I'm planning on getting an A10 GT Premium this fall, mag ride and all the goodies, can't wait.
  15. Mustang Hybrid (S650) Announced, Debuts in 2020

Sounds pretty darn interesting to me, Ford has my blessing. Let the waiting game begin.
  16. Test drove a 16 2SS today

10k off a 2ss is crazy, quite frankly where the price needs to be. Tempting offer.
  17. M2 vs Mustang GT

They certainly should have matched up trannys, thrown a GT350 and a m235/m240 in the mix.
  18. JUNE 2016 SALES (Mustang vs. Camaro vs. Challenger) - Check First Post

Looks like the 6th gen is a complete bust. Priced it too high to attract repeat buyers, styling not updated enough to attract new buyers. Ford on the other hand delivered styling that grows on you vs styling that has grown stale. The scary thing for the Camaro is its continued downward...
  19. Consumer reports loves the M235

No, that is the 2017 m240i stats you can order Today that is replacing the m235i. Some M2 owners are pissed as a result, M2 certainly wins at the track, drivers race everywhere else with the m240i having more available torque across the band. M2 could see an engine upgrade for MY2018...
  20. Consumer reports loves the M235

The 2 series has been one of the most reliable platforms for BMW, I think they got that one right. Take a peak at the NHTSA data for a 2015 m235i, zero recalls, zero complaints, 1 complaint for a 2014. Mustang sells a lot more but you will see 39 recalls and couple hundred complaints for...
