Anyone have any idea what I should do if I’m pulling a po300 code the dealership I took it to told me I needed a whole new harness which sounded like bs to me. Coils and plugs have both been changed.

Lots of posts on this, I'm sure others will chime in.

Found this on a search:

DTCs from the '16 Helm:
P0300 - Random Misfire Detected

Description: This DTC sets when the misfire detection monitor detects an engine misfire in multiple cylinders or the PCM cannot identify which cylinder is misfiring.

Possible Causes:
Damaged camshaft position (CMP) sensor
Low fuel (less than 1/8 tank)
Stuck open exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve
Restricted EGR passages
Misfire monitor neutral profile correction has not been relearned since the last mechanical repair
Diagnostic Aids: One or more EGR passages may be restricted.
(@honeybadger experienced this code -found it was due to a pinched/loose wire in a coil pack connector)

@honeybadger how did you find out what was causing it? My dealership said I need a new harness which sounds a little bizarre.

Because for a dealer, replacing the whole harness is easier and faster than trying to track down which specific wire/connection is bad.
how can i figure out where the issue is, I need help

Start with Cylinder #2. Examine the coil connector carefully, make sure the pins are both seated equally in the connector and that there's no corrosion. Also make sure the wire integrity is solid as far as you can trace it back. Any tears in the insulation are bad obviously.

Sorry for the delay. Have been traveling to pick up an RV.

I traced the wires and found out it was a pinched wire that was shorting out right where it bends coming out of the connector.

If I had to guess, it’s likely the CPS wire being pinched (I’ve broken 3 and helped numerous others). It could also be the connector at the #2 coil. Either way, I’ll give it a 98% probability it’s the harness. I roll around with a spare now. Been through 3
