Pmas and tune. Disapointed

Nope mine hot. Stock intake and tune was never more then 5-7 over ambient

Make sure the MAF is inside the shield mines normally 6-8* over ambient just like stock when normal driving. At lights or when parked with a hot motor it goes up some but drops back down faster than the stock box.

Power wise My car with just 1 7/8" long tubes, catless X, race bullet mufflers and tune (I'm self tuned on 93) would put 5 cars on my wife's stock (other than mufflers) 16 GT and her car was faster than mine stock (better gearing on hers). I haven't run her since the Pmas intake but honestly I feel just as big of a gain as when I did my long tubes and got rid of the cats. I'm just itching to get a GT350 manifold on mine so it will really breathe.

Now that my OPG and timing sprocket are done. I need that 350 manifold in my life. My tuner and I want to strap this bitch down and spend a good long time dialing in the cams and make the manifold scream despite the neigh-sayers.

The power is there. Cars are going 124+ on that intake. You just have to spend the time with a competent tuner to get it there.

Lund 93 oct tune woke my GT up like no other mod. Lund will work with you until the tune is right, so data log and see what is going on/or isn't.

Consider a 170* t stat as well. It helps with temps greatly.

15hp increase on 400hp is less than 4%. Your butt dyno would have to be very very good to feel that.

Kinda ended up disappointed this week afterstalling pmas intake lund tune and corsa extremes. I got a 93 tune from lund on ngauge. The temps on the pmas are alot higher then stock. And i dont really feel much more power with the tune and intake. Was expecting a night and day difference. Car actually feels slower down low:/

Check your knock values , 93 tune often have an issue with "bad gas" the flexfuel tune is more adaptive

i drove my uncles 3.55 car with a stock tune, it literally felt like a dog compared to my 3.31 car with a Lund FF tune.

Maybe these cars are tuned kinda hot from the factory to where just a tune does not see much gains in HP. My LS tuner at Antivenom said the factory tune on my C6 Vette was pretty hot compared to the tune he did on my 2010 5.3 Colorado. I saw a 30 hp gain and lb ft gains on the Colorado and around 30hp gains with a tune and AR headers on my 06 LS2 Vette using HP tuners.

None flex fuel cruising afr sounds about right. You have catless long tubes? I have a ghost cam tune I've been eager to try out aswell do some data logging iM positive car should see gains. I really noticed mine and I didn't expect it. I'd suggest investing in the flex tune. Im.sure they could give some.type of deal.
