Alright, thanks man. I seem to already have a good answer already but I’ll pop over there and ask around there. Appreciate the help.
Kidding and sarcasm aside I hope there is nothing seriously wrong with your car if there is it gets taken care of under warranty. :fistbump:

As long as you have never had it tuned and kept up on oil changes there is no reason for it not to be warranted.

I still think I'd drive it around the block until it blows. Then you know you will get a new engine, or whatever is wrong.

Update: Apparently the foreman and technicians are gonna look at it on Monday. They’re acting kinda sketchy about the warranty due to the tires being worn down. (This is due to it being used as a commuter for the time being and also the fact that I test line lock on it awhile ago). Hopefully they’ll understand that and I’ll get the warranty to cover this. I’ll update you guys on Monday.

As in they believe it could’ve been misused due to the tires being worn down. My dealership are also kind of assholes so... yeah.

Just how many miles are on these tires? And what tires are these (OEM or aftermarket)? It is certainly within the realm of reason to conclude that a GT350 with worn tires could have been beaten on. FYI, there is worn down and then there is "Worn Down". It does sound like the dealer is certainly setting themselves and you up for a possibly warranty denial.

By the way use as an occasional DD or LL burnout will not destroy the tires so they may be seeing something else. I can't wait until Monday!

I've read enough of these threads to think we do not know the whole story. I just hope OP is able to get his car fixed and on Ford's dime. We'll see...........

So they’re stock tires with 20k miles on them. They need to get replaced matter of fact so they’re basically gone but again, car ain’t been abused and another dealership told us that it doesn’t really matter what condition the tires are in if it’s engine related but I see why they’d come to that conclusion. Again we won’t know till Monday.

Engine warranty denial based on tire wear?

Big fat bullshit on that one. Take it to another dealer.
Well we don’t know that yet. However I’m guessing that’s what they’ll try to pull so yeah, it’s going to another dealer. Hell, apparently they’re not even going to check in with Ford to see if it falls under warranty which is what they’re supposed to do. “Well our dealership will determine if it falls under warranty.”
