Hello I have seen that it is possible to activate the performance shift indicator through for scan for the A10 mustangs however I cannot find how to do it anywhere can anybody fill me in please? Additionally is there any way to be able to turn off all the lights while the car is on I noticed that even when you turn the headlight toggle all the way to off the three bars in headlight housing stay on pic of my vehicle for attention

I'm just confused, wouldn't it just shift immediately once it hit the shift light? Or is this when you use paddles and are holding revs?

it’s these lights on the dash as the rpm’s go up to indicate its time to shift I know the car will shift on its own it just looks cool on the digital dash

Got it, carry on. I didn't realize it's constantly lit up like that. On my stick i only get it at redline basically. Sorry for the derail

I've never seen this before. I have a 21 premium gt with 401A. How do I bring up this shift alert?

Why do you want to turn all the lights off while running? Let me guess, "it looks cool?" Just asking 😄

I found this post with a write up on how to enable it: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/performance-shift-indicator-a10.187956/post-3778203

I'm looking forward to see the results. This may motivate me to fix my laptop and use forscan again.
thank you! I will be giving this a go tomorrow I’ll update you once it’s done

Sometimes I leave my car running and want all the lights off

I looked up the procedure from the link (partial list below).

Once you get to this screen (above photo) do you input actual rpm values from the steering wheel?

Perhaps you can post another photo of the adjustments screen?

...
13. Go to your vehicle settings by selecting the horse by your steering wheel.
14. You'll see the 'Performance Shift Indicator' and then you can select and adjust the settings.
15. 'Shift Point' you can adjust the max up or down before it warns you to shift (when it goes red); 'Shift Tone' if you want it to beep when you hit your shift point; 'Shift Light' mode whether you want it to be on your 'Tachometer' or 'Track' if you want the lights to warn you like in F1 etc.

Are we talking running, as in sitting somewhere or running running from something? I believe when I enabled police mode on everything it shuts all the lights off, interior, exterior. I could be wrong though (high possibility) and also I could check for ya but it's currently below zero here in the AM so I wouldn't be willing to check until a month or so.
