yup.. looks the same on the outside except for a blue PCV and different barcode. I ordered the updated oil separator Part # FR3Z-6A785-C for my car and it arrived earlier today.

My car smoked like a chimney once I installed the DP and exhaust so I gutted my PCV with a DVCC which solved all the issues. I'm going to install the updated PCV just as it is and see if the car smokes at all. I'll also cut open the original oil separator and take photos just for giggles.
I am also interested on if this will work. Let us know how the install goes.
now the fun stuff... I opened up the stock original oil separator this woudl be the original run FR3Z-6A785-A the new one is revision C which I won't cut open unless I guess they release another revision.. lolDisconnect battery
Remove engine cover
Remove STB if you have one
Disconnect charge pipe from the TB
Disconnect all electrical connections on the intake and TB
There are 5 10mm bolts holding the intake on plus one 10mm nut on the bottom closest to the driver.
Once you have the intake loose flip it over and disconnect the two electrical connections as well as pull the plugs off the intake.
Once the intake off you can remove the hose connection that connects to the PCV nipple; you will see a black plate (oil separator) that has 7-8 8mm bolts holding it on, remove those bolts and remove the black plate (oil separator).
Awesome so we no longer need to gut the pcv ?No cel on my car. I just drove about 50 miles along with a bunch of stop and go traffic and No smoke!
Thus far it looks that way. I'll feel better about it after I drive it for a week.Awesome so we no longer need to gut the pcv ?
TSB requires a PCM update along with the new PCV. Have any adjustments ever been made to your PCM for the smoking issue, higher idle rpm, etc. Thanks. Thus far it looks that way. I'll feel better about it after I drive it for a week.
Assuming its just not warmer spring weather causing the hither temps. It might have something to do with the updated tune. I'd worry if it was hitting 220 but 205 is still well within normal operating range.Had mine done and they forgot to hook up the vacuum line on the back of intake. Got that fixed today and code cleared. I've noticed the car runs warmer now. Never used to get above 190 now it hits 205+. Anybody else?
