hey just wanted to get some info for what people are using for a check valve when gutting the pcv valve. car started smoking on stock downpipe (muffler/res delete) and want to get is resolve before i install my downpipe. so basically two questions really.. what check valve are you guys using for non-upr catchcans and a pvc valve is pretty much a check valve so what is the difference between gutting it and pulling a check valve on the output of the catch can? stock diameter too small? catch can volume solves issue?

PCV1162DL can be used which isn't very expensive and can be picked up from your local AZ which will be an improvement over the stock just have to fabricate a line if not there are a variety of check valves online UPR makes check valves, boomba makes check valves as well.

cool thank you! spent all day going to AZ's and homedepot's with no luck but boomba has exactly it. should post this to the thread so part numbers can be found by others.
