I've done some searches and I can't find anything exactly what I'm experiencing. When I open the drivers door, hand on the handle and pull the window immediately moves down for me to open. Unfortunately this isn't the same on the passenger side. I have to tell the passenger to pull the handle but wait a second for the window to go down. I have tried it myself and it's always the same thing.

Usually when they go to pull open the door it'll take a second and the window will get caught in the weather stripping. Its not a huge deal as I don't always have passengers in my car, but my neice and nephew being young don't get it.

I'm not sure if it's a timing thing like my scion, where sometimes you have to have the window half way up, then pull the switch and hold it for it to relearn where it's position is, or if there is something else going on.

The window has no problem going fully up or down, even with the door open. This only happens when you open the passenger door.

Have you tried resetting it? I don't have the procedure at hand but a search of the forum should bring it up. Or perhaps another member will chime in.

I haven't. I'm not exactly sure if there is a procedure or not. I know my other car , its window half way up and I hold the switch until the window moves to the fully up position and the switch flashes twice, but I have yet to see or find any kindness procedure for the mustang.

A Google search brought up this AI response. There are also several YouTube videos on the subject.

Does it work properly if you open the door from the outside? If so, the problem may be in the inside handle/switch. If not, then maybe the window motor is defective. Warranty?

I would try resetting the window indexing first thing but could also be something going on with the door open sensor and/or the door latch needs grease

Unfortunately nothing worked. I found a post from the Broncos forums with a procedure from their manual. Going to give that a try and if not I guess I'll have to unwrap mine finally and take a look.

The one touch up and down works fine, its just the delay is to long when pulling the handle open.
