GT350 has a shoe and drum, which appears to be what the link you posted is depicting. GT’s and Ecoboost’s do not have shoes and drums, ebrake is part of the single piston rear caliper.

Interesting...the two EB I've worked on, both had drum parking brakes. I just assumed that was the norm. I guess there's more than one brake package for the EB.

The link I sent, the EB uses that part. The models it fits are down below the image.

The link posted shows that from 2015 to 2019 all mustangs have the disc/drum setup, then in 2020 only the GT500 and 350/R have disc/drum and then 2021 up only the GT500 has disc/drum setup. So, from 2020 up both GT and EcoBoost have just disc E brake setup with single piston style calipers.

Not sure how much I trust the info in that link. I had a 2017 GT PP1, it did not have a drum parking brake, had the exact same setup that my 2020 GT PP2 has, ebrake is part of the caliper. My understanding is all GT’s from 2015 thru 2023 have the same rear brake setup. I also thought all ecoboost’s from 2015 thru 2017 with the performance pack and all 2018 thru 2023 had the same rear brakes as the GT’s, but not as familiar with ecoboost’s, so maybe that is incorrect.

Also, I am 98% sure 2020 and newer GT500‘s have an electric parking brake, they have a separate caliper for just the ebrake, so no drums there either.

My understanding is that there is not much difference in rear brake system design. All S550 Mustangs from factory have 1 piston caliper in rear. Calipers on performance package could be slightly bigger to accommodate vented disc, but overall, by work logic they are same.
Difference mainly happens in front calipers (2, 4, 6 piston calipers). It is the Shelbys that have major difference happening in rear.

Just serviced my 2019 GT Premium, replacing both rear rotors and pads.... e-brake integrated in calipers not a drum setup.

I just know my 2020 eco is single piston caliper with E brake incorporated into caliper also. It may be a Shelby thing as stated above.

I just wish ford would get their part descriptions accurate.
