Also I pressure tested the system again at 21 psi and it lost 1 psi of pressure after about 3.5 hours. Don’t think that’s enough to cause issues.
Yeah. That’s normal. As the coolant temperature goes down, so will the pressure in the system. Unless the coolant was 100% cooled down and stable, but even then, anything at 1psi or less, is margin of error.

I do also have the mmr head cooling mod. I’m wondering if air may be trapped in there.

My MMR cooling mod leaked. Luckily it was the connections of the lines (and not the seal/fit of the assembly into the heads). Was a real MF to remove them and apply teflon tape to get them sealed up. Should probably check them.

Mine did too the first time I did it. This time I used thread sealant and don’t see any signs of leaking

Correct. Rules out airflow from fan(s) at idle as I was inferring to. :).

I have all 3 cores completely sealed together around all 4 outer perimeters. When my fan(s) come on at idle, it will try to suck a T-shirt through the grill opening. No place for air to draw/push through except through all 3 cores. Nothing out the bottom, sides or top.
I was/am more concerned about IAT's than cooling temps. I have the trackspec hood vent and I've tried to open up as much of the front grill as possible. My car is like Steven Tyler's mouth in front of a leaf blower. I'm less concerned about the efficiency across the radiator as I am about simply getting the heat out of the engine bay. My interchiller is being installed, I might rethink things and try to focus on the radiator/engine cooling.

Yeah. I have zero need for an interchiller. The design/idea is neat, but in reality, they don’t actually do anything but complicate simplicity and take up every bit of space that is barely available now. I guess someone living in a super hot nasty climate running gasoline and drive slower in traffic a lot might make some use of it. I’d rather have my AC working 100% as intended though.

Also if I add pressure to the system when cold and the water level goes down would that mean there is air in the system (air compressing)? Or is this normal.

Or is this normal.
If you don't see 'burps' coming up, there isn't any significant air in the system.
Curious though if you had any problems before the MMR cooling mod ?

It means you’re expanding the hoses. Reservoir will drop a tad. Just make sure it comes back to where it was after you remove the pressure lol.

When I had it previously I had no cooling issues once I fixed my expansion tank. It was leaking but it wasn’t consistent leaking.

Now that is an air trap.
Yep, maybe because it was leaking a little last time the air could escape. But maybe air is stuck their and messing with the cooling idk
