For those worried about brake bias and abs malfunctions don't, I used this set up at my last track day and it performed awesome with no issues at all.
On the street the car behaves the exact same with a little more braking force but I always thought the stock PP braking is good enough for the street anyway.
Do you have a link for theseSomething I tried just for the fun of it. Ebay calipers covers, a dremal for cutting sand paper to fine tuning, paint for color of choice, and not shown, a "brembo" decal.
Have you used these for racing? I'm wondering how they would hold up once the brakes start getting hot.Something I tried just for the fun of it. Ebay calipers covers, a dremal for cutting sand paper to fine tuning, paint for color of choice, and not shown, a "brembo" decal.
x2. A lot of the groups I run in will not let you run with covers.I would Not even show up to the track with any caliper covers. It is just not a good idea.
Ended up getting a set of these for under $2k front and rear. It's far from economical, but the Baer Extreme Plus system is top notch.
Yep they were on ebay with 300 miles. Guy had over 1300hp so needed to switch to a drag style rear wheel/tire combo and these would not fit. made an offer and he accepted. That's a crazy good deal! I'm curious to hear your thoughts on them vs the factory 6 piston Brembo's. These cars need sooo much more rear brake than OEM provided. You're going to love it. Enjoy!
