So being a dumbass I went and bought a Harbor Freight 8" 3-jaw puller for the crank gear. Well the thing is too thick at the ends to fit into the slots in the pulley. So I hit up the local parts stores and they only had the small (2-ton) and medium (5-ton) pullers so I rented the 5 ton. It is smaller than the Harbor Freight 8". The jaw measures 6.5". What do you think is a 5 ton enough? Looks like it should fit right. If not I can go hit up the other stores tomorrow to see if they have the 7 ton, guessing one has to.

The 3 jaw puller you have in the picture is what I used. I did turn the legs around and used the shorter sides. I've done it 3 times without issue and it pulls it off easily. Make sure you use something on the end of the puller screw that contacts the end of the crank shaft. Here are some pics for reference. The puller legs hook inside the crank damper on the wider edge towards to center.

I have the same one... and had the same problem. Just remove the brackets holding the claws and bolt them directly onto the center part. Yes, they will be off center a little, but worked fine for me.

I can't remember what happened to the end of my puller, but I put a socket on the end and it fit nicely against the crank.

So I'm installing the ati damper, but this may be similar to stock damper, can't remember. Do you guys remember if the damper is supposed to sit flush with the end of the crank when it's seated all the way on? I've got the ATI damper installed and the pulleys seem to line up perfectly, but odd that it sits past end of crank snout? Or is this normal?

Looks right. My procharger pulley has a snout and it sits inside the damper. So your pic looks normal to me.

Yea I found that bolt to be the biggest pain in the ass. Took me longer to bolt and unbolt than to install the kit lol.

It's a lot of work! Took me a while to figure out I had to use a little puller on the wipers. And all those damn bolts and push clips on the underbody tray!! Wtf.

LOL - i gave up on the wipers, was able to pull the tray up enough to get at the cowl extenstion. Think I will need to go out tomorrow to pick up a puller to do the crank. I destroyed a few of those push pins on the underbody, need to get replacements for them also. Whew
