Everyone, I am chasing a ghost on my friends 2016 GT350. When accelerating hard and up shifting the clutch doesn't engage completely until after 1 or 2 seconds (seems like that much time - could be less) - This only happens at the upshifts and not all the time, its intermittent. I tested it...
I am pretty sure I am NOT the fastest but I do have a stock converter. I went 10.6 @ 130 mph with a P1/S2 on 93 and left around 1900-2000 rpms. 3.15 gears.
Since we are on the topic, will either of these driveshafts alone lower drag racing et's (and increase mph) and if so what is the typical gain on a supercharged AUTO car running high 10s with stock suspension?
asking for a friend...
Great info, I too am surprised its not used regularly with boosted S550s. I used it on my Grand National and cranked the boost up to 30psi spraying meth.
As far as your problem, are you on the Procharger tune? is your tune for the correct injectors? if yes to both questions, then it really sounds like lose intake and/or vacuum hose(s). All the clamps have to be double checked and tightened, one of my cold side hoses was loose after i installed...
Ok, I just got off the phone with my tuner Ryan, he did some checking and said the trans rev limiters were not raised and he will change it and send me a new tune.
I replaced the plugs thinking i had blowout and still has the same issue. Gap is a tight .028 (brand new plugs) and pumped 6 gallons of fresh 93 octane and still cutting out. Its frustrating to say the least.
Yes helps, however, this just started and it never cut power before. Have you seen tunes reset the rev limiters without being flashed? I am on HP tuners software and use the sct to datalog. And yes, this is an auto car.
