My right map light socket is intermittently working. I tried another bulb and the same.

it works if I twist it a bit, but then when I drive the bumps move the contacts and then again the bulb wont work.

I am guessing the map bulb socket contacts are not contacting the bulb contacts.

Can you please suggest what I could do to fix this?

Reach into the socket with a pick and give the contacts a bend. Be sure to either pull a fuse or disconnect the battery though.

You might have a bit of corrosion on the socket. That'll definitely cause it.
