just touch it with the shoe polish and buff it. You can always remove that if you don t like it. I m afraid anything that will remove the glue will do the same for the plastic paint. No one will ever see it.

Yeah, everything I've read says acetone will melt the plastic. It could be that the cloudiness is actually damage to the plastic and im just spinning my wheels anyway.

Since any liquid substance makes it disappear, I'm just going to experiment with a cover up. There is a little on the headliner I got to figure out too.

Apparently my console has anti theft sensors in it, so I can't just swap it out for a $50 ebay version otherwise I'd just do that an call it a day.

Thanks to all those that replied. Be warned for all those that want to LED bulb swap.

And a special thanks to the PO for this epic hack job. 🖕🏻🤣

The citrus cleaner should work on the fabric, and you can clean if after with some window cleaner.

A couple of small pieces of 3m tape work great for sticking the loose map light to the ceiling so it doesn't move around.

Sharpie pen it, you will be the only one that knows that it's touched up. Don't use acetone, at least don't slop it on. Try that where you wouldn't notice if damage results, like inside the housing.
