I don't really know exactly what the benefit is other than to have oil vapors entering the intake manifold which can prematurely cause engine damage. Most recommend just doing the passenger side. What is the actual benefit to adding the oil seperator to both driverside & passengerside? is there any performance benefits or just capturing waste oil from entering the manifold. Thanks for all that respond.
Oil vapors entering the intake tract lower the effective octane rating and can cause engine knock which will cause the ECM to pull timing. Also, the gunk buildup in the intake manifold is gross (a real problem on cars with intercoolers). What is the actual benefit to adding the oil seperator to both driverside & passengerside? is there any performance benefits or just capturing waste oil from entering the manifold. Thanks for all that respond.
