Hey
I had a friend who took my 2021 GT for a drive, he mentioned he was on sport+ mode and later I saw some kind of oil on my engine cover on drivers side. I dint notice any more oil on any other engine parts. Was wondering if he pushed car too hard to what might be happing or if I should be worried.

Seems a bit strange to happen in that spot.
Are you sure that is oil? Could it be water that seeped onto that spot from the open hood vent?

No I saw it yesterday night and I just cross checked again, it’s still there seems a bit off to me .

You think that (possibly) oil spot appeared because your friend drove it too hard in Sport mode?

No, that's not what's happing.

You crossed checked it against what, exactly? And what seems a bit off to you?

Any chance that oil spot would have been an accidental drip from the last time you topped off your oil? Could have occurred a while ago and you are just noticing it now.

Looks like some leftover engine bay dressing from a previous detail wicking its way through the dust on the engine cover. Wipe if off and don't think about it again.

Agree with the above, it’s probably just some kind of dressing. The oil filler is on the other side, the dipstick is on that side. Check to make sure your dipstick is fully seated. Give the cover a good cleaning and check it again in a day or so.
