Oil Filter

In for info when/if filters become avail. I want to schedule a track day with my new (to me) car. Kinda hard to do a fluid swap when I can't find a filter LOL

I don't. But with unknown mileage, I'd like to do everything and prefer to do so at the same time. I guess I wouldn't loose *too* much of the new oil if I did the filter later.

Found one at a somewhat local to me ford dealership. He said they would only sell me one, even though I didn’t ask for more than one. Also told me I was lucky to find one in stock

Yea, you take it to your dealership and let them handle the problem.

I have…they cannot find one either. Called all 4 of the local San Antonio ford dealers—not a single filter

Then they need to install an aftermarket filter and document it in your record. Make them call Ford to approve the substitute due to a lack of filters.

Dealers can order them on an emergency basis as well.

I finally found one locally—they only had 1 left. I was going to buy extras to share but no luck. Side note, anyone order from parts ford? it shows them and allows you to pay…just wondering if others have done that and got canceled?

I did and it got cancelled. Try it though and let us know.
