Trying to get a jump on oil changes and have multiple cases of 5W-50 coming. But, what I don't know yet is, which oil filter is being used on the new motor? I've heard it's a cartridge-style this time but that is unconfirmed.

So, if anyone knows the FOMOCO part number for the Motorcraft Oil filter, please advise and, thanks in advance.

2016 Shelby GT350, 2017 Ford Focus ST, On Order 2020 CTFP Shelby GT 500 with POTTS. Car is released and awaiting shipment. I am running out of time before having to leave for Japan on July 29th.
You won’t need to worry oil and filters will be available. I had no problems ordering the special oil filter for the GT350 when it first came out. They won’t be in stores and many of the dealerships won’t have them at first but you will be able to order it online with no problem.

Thanks, Melange. I was just hoping someone might know the Moto part number.
While I havent found the number for you....It is a cartridge filter with 2 o-rings. See the black cartridge housing underneath the alternator in this picture.

Thanks, guys...forgot about checking the darn photo of the motor, geeze... Picked up half a dozen 2062's from AmalgamatedZonica. Not sure how I feel about this switch. When they're top-mounted, it's easy but I can see me fumbling with that oily canister. Oh well, 'tis what it is, right?

I read in my search for you that the 2062 was upgraded to the 2087
