Any recommendations for an alternative oil drain plug for the Mach1? I use the EZ oil drain plug on my RV which is perfect for that application. Didn’t have any luck finding one that was Mach 1 specific. Any thoughts or recommendations?

You'll need one that is 5.0-specific. Being a Mach, there are no unique requirements.

I've been using one from UPR for several seasons. Works great. I've had no issues or concerns. Way better at controlling the drain flow than the factory plug. Seats well and stays secure.

Some have commented on Femco plugs and like them.

The UPR one looks good, I run the Ronin one. No issues here on my Mach 1.

I like the Ronin one too. I have had 2 of them. One on my F150, one on my 22 GT. They worked really well. Haven't splurged for one for my new car yet...

I've had Ronin on my last three vehicles.

Have one on my F-150 now, no problems.

Have one on my Mach 1, no problems.

I attach clear tubing to the drain adapter, to make draining spill free.

All 15-17 coyotes have a standard drain plug, correct? Looking to get one of the better drain plugs but can’t quite remember what i have under there. 100% sure i remember a hex head, so i’m THINKING metal pan/plug M12x1.25. Anyone know for sure? 🫠

When it's really HOT it's harder to control flow but good gloves and a bit of patience has always worked for me ViperOne!!

I've heard bad stories about aftermarket plugs plus they're $50 or more so I just never took the plunge!!
