Hey Ron when you fit the strut brace make sure you check clearances. Mine had spacers and it still bit into the loom on the passenger side.

The car goes in tomorrow for the Harrop oil cooler kit.The guys will also fit the strut brace for me(I don’t have a tension tool,& not prepared to pay over $100 for a one time use) Guys @ “Autotech” (Hume,A.C.T) will be doing all the work.I did mention the spacers to them, they said that it is no big issue, they can machine some up if needed.Cheers:):) Ron.

Only one more sleep Ron!

But seriously, I was nervous in the weeks leading up to replacing my cooler last year as well.

If you're that concerned how are you going to get it 75 km to Autotech? Typically by the time you see it the damage is done, you'll have to get it towed lest it fail at 74.5km.

Couldn't help myself, but I remember this post from three years ago, your worst nightmare Ron...

Well today my car oil cooler shit itself ironically I’ve purchased the street fighter kit and dropped it off at the mechanics for a early Jan install on the way home the cooler died.

So has anyone on this forum had a failed oil cooler if so were you out of pocket? Did you have any mods etc

If no one has I will report when I know more tomorrow when I drop it off at a ford dealer.

I have Mods Xforce headers, CAI, Tune so will let you all know but if someone has been through this would love to know the outcome thanks
