Awesome, that's the answer I was hoping for :)

Have you guys got any decent clips of your full exhaust? I know change of topic to thread subject but i googled and came up with very little, one had a post from yourself but it was a photobucket link that didn't seem to work anymore. Hoping you guys have or can do a decent stationary revs then a driving away from camera sound video and upload to youtube? (Also is yours an imported USA one? Which brand do you modify if so?)

I believe i can answer that, all ngauges have i believe 2 inputs on the back for other sensor inputs. They're all advertised as having the ability to "Log up to two auxiliary 0-5v sensors"

Streetfighter manufacture all our own Mustang exhausts systems. We resist putting up sound files as they do not reflect the true sound of our systems.
We are so confidant of our exhausts quality, sound and performance, that we offer a 100% NO CHARGE guarantee should it not meet your expectations.
This is available for our cat-back systems only and should you not decide on our exhaust after an immediate test drive , we will refit your initial system no charge.
Furthermore, should you decide on purchasing the Streetfighter Exhaust System , it includes a 3 Year / 100,000 km Driveline Warranty.

This is available from Streetfighter Specialist Workshops Australia and New Zealand.

I'm only interested in the full kit, so i'll have to just keep my ear to the ground and see if anyone has one in Melbourne.

Also am i to assume that for just the headers/cats it's $1,963 ($4,451 for full kit less $2,488 for cat back)

Thanks for the info.

We have been waiting for the 2018 Mustang to inspect it to see if the oil cooler had been upgraded.
As per the pictures below it seems that the part numbers remain the same as the previous 2015-2017 models.

The first picture is many of the standard coolers that we have replaced over the last year.
The part number stamped on the cooler is always the same, with only the date changed. GR3E-64642-GA

The second picture shows an oil cooler we removed from a 2016 Mustang. The part number is the same and the cooler is dated GR3E-64642-GA 23/07/2016

The third picture is a factory oil cooler on the new 2018 Mustang. The part number is still the same with the date being 2017.GR3E-64642-GA 29/09/2017

It seems that by part number and prefix of the oil cooler has not been changed.
Ford may have retained the same part number and prefix , while manufacturing a more robust unit.
We tried to see if there are any physical, material and manufacturing differences between the early coolers we and the new 2018 Mustang coolers. Externally all looks exactly the same.

We cannot be sure if Ford has manufactured a more robust unit, along with the unit looking the same , the physical positioning is all exactly as previous models. We are now waiting to carry out our first 2018 cooler replacement to test if the erratic oil pulsation problem from previous models still exist.

I'm pretty convinced and will be getting one installed locally in the coming weeks :)

I have a reallly stupid question to ask though....IS there anything included with the kit, stickers, plaque or anything that advises and warns of the increased oil capacity of the unit? I'm pretty pedantic, so wherever i get it serviced i'll advise them it takes 1L more than handbook due to aftermarket oil cooler, but i'm just thinking in the event that i forget to do so or even forget if i do the oil change myself...Or for other members either that might forget

No at all a stupid question. Possibly something that we have taken for granted.
Engine oil is filled and checked according to the dipstick level.
This will be the same , regardless of the extra 1l system capacity.

The only way someone would not fill with the correct amount is by filling to handbook specs without checking the dipstick.
The dipstick should always be referred to and engine filled to the marked full level.

Fantastic, thanks for confirming. I've always checked dipstick when doing myself but i must admit i wasn't sure if it'd somehow be hidden with all the extra piping and the sump (i think) would sit lower than cooler etc.

Appreciate the clarity, definitely happy

@ Streetfighter great work David. Looking forward to the results of the 18 pulsation testing.

In the meantime is it possible to compare the weight of 15-17 against an 18, and sectionalise them both for a look inside. I believe @12g was going to do this at some stage and it generated quite a lot of interest. Would also be good to find one that comes from within the build batch in the TSB and do the same.

It'd be so much easier if Ford would just stop hiding from us.

Will definitely be doing so as soon as we have a 2018 cooler to dissect.

The first picture is many of the standard coolers that we have replaced over the last year.

I hadn’t appreciated how much coolant piping was involved with the standard set up!

Hi David ,why have you not mentioned that the oil pressure sensor is no longer available with this kit due to the erratic pulsating in this area.
I for one sent you a payment only to be told you no longer supply it. I asked you for a full refund as the only reason I wanted it was for the oil pressure switch, then you only refunded me for the oil pressure switch, I already have a bypass manifold so do not need another one. Can you please advise me as to when I will receive the rest of the refund please.

New balance of refund was sent last week and processed by PAYPAL Aug 1. You should see it any day now.
