Based on my first oil change and a friends first on his C7 Z06 this seems totally normal.

I used a filter mag from the git go.
These engines don't have a ton of ferrous material in them. I'm sold on FilterMags in old Detroit Iron, but remain unconvinced that they provide any benefit in a modern modular engine.

If you are worried about it, get the oil analyzed. (If you still have the oil).

To put your mind at ease, that is normal. My 16 track pack had a bunch of residue at the bottom of the pan. My 17 R was cleaner than the 16 track pack, but there was still the usual first oil change stuff in the bottom of the pan. The oil analysis came back great.

Look into blackstone labs. IMHO, these oil reports not only document that the oil was changed, but give direct indications on how the engine is doing.
