Wow, this thread derailed to a different level instead of the normal heated Oil viscosity argument.

In my 97 f150 I only use the sweat of obese women who frequent KFC. They are easy to find, but squeezing them sweat from them gets dangerous.

I swapped my oil out for olive oil. It's a greener option.

Coconut oil is a healthier option. Only the best for the best.

True green option:

I've decided on used oil from the local restaurants. Not the recycled stuff, straight from the fryers is more environmentally friendly because recycling still uses energy and resources. Nope, drove around back to the oil dumpster and filled her up. The fat solids that they throw out also make a great grease for everything else!!!

Being in the healthcare field has given me access to the leftover fat from liposuctions which has increased my MPG/HP significantly. If you can find a fattie who was a vegetarian it is even better. Their high soy diet gives the fat a synthetic blend quality.

I dont thnink 0W-30 would be bad - esp in Toronto in winter, it will have less viscous at really cold temperatures, which would enable it to be similar to how 5 wt behaves at normal temps. I'd do it if you had a consistently cold winter.

On my end - I am def doing 5w-30 (my standard), and for track days will go with 5W-40.

Sooooo, 5W-30 gets the thumbs for GT owners? It's almost time for me to change the oil and I have quite a few quarts of 5W-30 already. Would it be better to go and buy 5W-20?

I am running 5w-20 Motorcraft Full Synthetic. I plan to keep running 5w-20 but really considering switching to Castrol Edge w\Titanium 5w-20.
