Officially back where it all started!

Picked up this VMP Mach 1 yesterday in Ohio at Porsche, and drove it back last night. Absolutely in love and can't wait for the warm weather and racing season to start back up!

Not sure why it keeps double posting the photos even when I clear them . But mostly HDPE up at Blackhawk downs and Autobahn in Chicago. It sure if I'll dive back into autox with this one, can't imagine it'll be very competitive haha.

I can tell you excited, that's great , enjoy, stay safe but have fun .
Had my fun Drag Racing for 28 years , 1st Gen Camaro all them years 1976 thru 2004 , doesn't seam that long ago . Haven't taken the Mach out yet ,I may just for a pass or two. TC

Oh for sure, definitely not my first rodeo haha. Competed in my 2019 ZL1, as well as my 23 M3 comp xdrive. Never got the chance to compete in the dark horse, due to having our first child. But now, will be keeping the mach 1 and racing it.

I need to get to Blackhawk, Autobahn is nice. I’m going with my son this summer to do the new driver class at Autobahn. It’s actually for seasoned drivers as well but geared towards the younger drivers. They put them in the skid car and teach them recovery techniques as well as some other things. Really cool they offer it, covers a lot of things most drivers ed classes don’t.

Enjoy the Mach, should be a blast with the blower.

I need to get to Blackhawk, Autobahn is nice. I’m going with my son this summer to do the new driver class at Autobahn. It’s actually for seasoned drivers as well but geared towards the younger drivers. They put them in the skid car and teach them recovery techniques as well as some other things. Really cool they offer it, covers a lot of things most drivers ed classes don’t.

Blackhawk for being a smaller course actually has a lot to offer! Has a great vibe as well. We were introduced to BH through RevMatch track days, and we're still their cover photo my wife's supra and my M3 comp. But very much excited to see what the Mach can do!

I had a 2023 ZL1 for a year , til a guy offered me $$$ , he couldn't get an allocation for a 24 .I took it to Firebird Raceway a few times to have a bit of fun down the 1/4 . All stock with all TC on , tires at 20 psi . Have a blast with your Mach . TC

First year I picked it up, competed at LS Fest and was my first experience at a car event to that size (considering I used to be an admin and helped run the Invasion in Iowa, nothing compares to LS fest so far). What a wild ride haha, and I've been searching for a while now to find a car that rivals how the ZL1 drove.

Very nice Mach1. Congrats ! I'm in similar situitation and chomping at the bit to get my recently acquired Mach1 on the German autobahn in a couple of weeks.

Back in the late 80's and early 90's I was at the local dragstrip every Thursday night. Now it's closed and I live 1 1/2 miles away. The memories of racing my '76 with a built 302.
