Thanks I'll look it up this afternoon during my break at work.My theory for testing this is, I had an old cell phone that I wanted to flash a recovery image to, but the standard "VOL + Power" routine didn't work, and you had to pull the battery, then plug it in USB and voila, it was in "Download Mode" and I was able to use Odin to flash the files to it. If that works with this, then I'm gonna be happier than a pig in shit.
I made some other interesting findings too, but it may be useless information.
With just the MAIN power harness plugged in, and the screen connected, the screen will not come on. If the small purple connector was plugged in, then the unit booted- Here's where it gets strange- I could then disconnect the purple connector, and hit the Start button on the car to kill power to the unit, but it would still continue to boot! With "RUN" power off, if I reconnect that purple plug, it shut the unit off. That tells me the "On/Off" connection is somewhere in that purple harness, if it helps at all, @StangATX .
