Yes. You'll have a blast, and the price is too good to pass up.Is the 1 day course worth it?

Hopeful that we get to run up on the banking. The full infield course by itself is kinda "meh."I've asked them a few times and got a different answer each time. I think we'll have to wait to see the early attendees' videos.

The early part of the 1st day is the more the street relatable skills - like autocross. The rest of the 1st day and all of the second is about more about road course performance - if you drive that way on the street you're a fool. So its a good opportunity to push things legally. Getting more out of that 2nd day depends on you....and possibly the weather. Its on track & then in class alternating all day so you do get a chance to ask a lot of questions, try things, and follow up. People in our group were focusing on one issue to work on, different for each person, and that seemed right. Someone who has experience or talent will pick up faster. I'm not one of those people but I know it and set my expectations accordingly (low). Thanks guys, so the 2nd day is just more track time. Does anyone think the 1 day course gives enough seat time to be more comfortable driving this beast on the street?
Thanls for your view on this event. Im still undecided. The early part of the 1st day is the more the street relatable skills - like autocross. I didn't attend and regret it, I would just to get the experience, learning how to get the most out of your car is something you should not pass up, I don't care what anyone says, you will never get that with spirited street driving. The track is an amazing rush of adrenalin. I track mine now after saying I wouldn't and plan even more track time very soon. I went and bought a set of dedicated wheels and tires for track use as wellIs the 1 day course worth it? If never going to track my car, Im a spirited street driver.
Thanks guys.
I've had lots of canyon but very little track experience. I attended the Track Attack and was struck during the classroom instruction by how backwards was my thinking about how to approach and drive through curves. That classroom instruction changed my street driving too, and I think about that almost every day.I didn't attend and regret it, I would just to get the experience, learning how to get the most out of your car is something you should not pass up, I don't care what anyone says, you will never get that with spirited street driving. What I was told very recently was: For the GT 350 Track Attack School, the morning session, where they haveHas anyone been able to confirm with FP which layout we will be using this year?
Good to know. Definitely want to be able to run the Roval. What I was told very recently was: For the GT 350 Track Attack School, the morning session, where they have
you practice various driving skills, including heel/toe downshifting would be on the infield road course.
The afternoon session, which is all high speed track work, is going to use the Roval, which uses pretty much all the track.
However, if it's raining for the afternoon track session, they will probably use the Hairpin Course instead.
I've been to the Track Attack twice when it was in Utah, highly recommend it.
