New product? Replacement wing brackets that raise the wing higher up into the airstream and offer more adjustment...gotta investigate that one.

I am very pleased with what Ford has done to the GT500 to make it look so fast and good looking. It should beat most performance expectations. I would rather have had a GT500 a couple of years ago that was not so advanced and expensive. I hope to own a 2020 GT500 some day, but I think I will get a 2019 Bullitt or GT350R first because I can get a manual transmission. After a year or so, I may be ready for DCT.

What has worried me after watching the 6 min.drive video, is the huge drop in rpm from 1st to 2nd gear. It looked like 7,500 down to 4,500; with a slow pick up of rpm in 2nd. Any thoughts on that ?!

I noticed that too. Rate of acceleration may still be very good depending on gearing. Maybe Ford spaced out the gears because of the torque level the engine puts out. I'm assuming it's not a 10-speed, so gear spacing is probably more due to that.

I think the GT500 is an really awesome car. Will it beat a Demon on a dragstrip? Maybe not, but a car that could do that would only be good at a dragstrip. I'm pretty sure that it will give the ZL1 1LE a hard time on the track with it's power advantage and I can't wait to see first reviews and comparisons.

The only thing that I don't like is that they went for the 15 fronent but 18 rearlights and bumper. Would have looked much cleaner with matching front and rearends

I am truly surprised that no one mentioned the part that says the GT500 pulls more lateral g force than any previous Mustang. Drive mode and gearing. In drag mode with the throttle down, it keeps the revolutions high.

Bone stock, most likely no. Not in the quarter if what we are being told is true. Probably 0-60MPH.

But the GT500 looks 100x better than that POS Datsun/Nissan, so who gives a Fook.
