Plot Twist: What if it's a regular v6 pretending to be a GT in training to be a Shelby?

I once thought about taking my 5.0 off the side and replacing it with a 65/66 GT emblem .....until I saw how small it is

Someone explain this to me please? If this car is not a GT, what gives it away? Thanks.

It's a GT, but in very poor taste. It has a Cobra emblem (which, to my knowledge, doesn't appear on the S550 version of the Cobra) underneath the 5.0 (and the GT350 doesn't even use a 5.0). To those who know what the current iteration of the Cobra is, they'll know immediately that this is not one; to those who don't know what the current GT350 is, they'll not understand why there's a snake on the side of the car.

Then it has a "435 HP" decal on the hood, which. . . that's just tacky. To people who know what the GT is, that's useless: They already know what kind of horsepower the car makes; and to those who don't care about cars or the GT, "435 HP" is useless because they just don't care.

All this on a non-PP/base version of the Mustang.

It is small; but cars were smaller back then.

But it does look very classy

Adding just one of these "cosmetic upgrades" would have been bad enough, but applying both the hood sticker and Cobra fender emblem were really bad decisions that have cheapened the appearance of this otherwise very nice GT convertible.
However, it is their car to modify as they choose.
