My experience. I tried a NLS..... once. 6Kish rpm. Sheared off a few driveline bolts. It was covered under warranty, but I won't be trying it again.

Tried it once on the 1-2 shift and swore I wouldn't do it again. Thought I was going to end up in a You Tube video. Now the 2-3 shift was a 'wooooh' moment with a evil grin associated with it.

This is an old 60's trick. It keeps the revs high and stays in the power band. But be very very careful. This is an art which requires a lot of practice. If you do not have perfect timing you can float the valves, break valve springs, etc if there is not a fuel shutoff, you can potentially damage the transmission, the synchros, and the engine. It is fantastic and fast when done right. But if you are off the least bit you can cause severe damage. Good luck

I know this is standard on the Mach1, but I wonder if this feature can be activated via the tune in the GTs and Bullitt? Anyone know any Ford engineers with knowledge of these cars that can confirm whether or not this is doable?

If you want to shift fast get a dual clutch transmission. Cant be beat for speed and ease of shifting.

Wanna back that up? I've not found ANY one with the 2018+ Power Pack also get NLS to work. Only 15-17.
You could be right since I have a 17
Sad that Ford would downgrade the PP for 18 and up

YES!!!! Of Sox and Martin fame
Yea, Ronnie was the only guy ever tested to shift faster than an auto.
I was a Mopor guy back in the day, Been to Landy's shop.

I love my coyote mustang but I loved my 426 hemi roadrunner also.

2018+ MY has the gen 3 coyote so the power packs for the gen 2 won't work. Ford only released one power pack for the gen 3 and it only works on the GT. It doesn't work on the bullitt because the bullitt has the gt350 IM and the tune is for the GT IM. So none of this is relevant to the OP.

If you mean to say it can be turned on with a third party tune then I'll concede to not knowing. But as far as I'm aware, even the power pack doesn't have NLS.
