  1. bullitt 2019 - throwout bearing clutch replacement/question?

Hmm...I think not checking the air gap (and shimming if necessary) might be the problem with some of these aftermarket clutches. Hope you get it figured out. Will be following the thread. https://www.fordmuscle.com/tech-stories/mind-the-gap-proper-clutch-setup-with-monster-clutches/ "When...
  2. Hood Struts

My Steeda struts were starting to sag and finally wouldn't hold the hood up anymore. I got 5 years out of them so I guess that I got my moneys worth. Steeda doesn't sell replacement struts from what I could tell and didn't want to spring for a whole new kit so I did some measuring and an...
  3. 2019 Bullitt. Normal wear on front tires?

Correction - toe-in (+) not neg toe (toe out). My brain struggles sometimes. Can I still blame covid? :)
  4. New Wheels & Tires : Alignment?

Just got new tires and alignment for the Bullitt (recent thread under Suspenion, Brakes & Chassis). Insides were down to the cord. As other more knowledgeable posters have mentioned more than likely a toe issue. In my case the toe was at zero and it ate my ps4s up. The alignment tech (old...
  5. 2019 Bullitt. Normal wear on front tires?

New tires and alignment. Tech said a little more neg toe would help with wear for my case. Thoughts?
  6. 2019 Bullitt. Normal wear on front tires?

American Tire Depot on Ramada X 46. They did my Mazda 6 and it came out ok. The tech is old school and salty but knows his stuff. Yeah, Templeton cruise is on Main st from 5:30-9pm first Friday of the month. Lot's of nice cars will do some loops and park to chat. A clean GT-40, 66' stang...
  7. 2019 Bullitt. Normal wear on front tires?

I'll keep my eye out for you at one of the cruise nights (TAPS - first Friday of the month Templeton, second Friday Atascadero, Paso, then Santa Margarita). We do have some nice back roads to play on! I got an appointment on friday for new tires and an alignment. I'll try to post the...
  8. 2019 Bullitt. Normal wear on front tires?

Hi guys, Normal wear? Too much camber? Something else? I'm not that versed on alignment specs so any thoughts would be nice. 2019 Bullitt with about 18,000 miles on Ford springs (M-5300-W). I asked for the BMR alignment spec when I put the springs on the car - at about 1,000 miles. I...
  9. Shifter support bracket recommendations

I got a smidge of additional NVH when I added this to my ride. Mostly past 5K rpm.
  10. Clutch pedal squeak

Mine squeaks too. Very irritating. Started about 2k ago, at 14K now. Was thinking some lube would do the trick, but haven't had the motivation. Installed the Steeda spring the first week of ownership. Probably need to check it out soon to confirm it's not the welds cracking, but no lateral...
  11. Clutch install problems!!!

Dang, that sucks. Working on jack stands it's hard to get the leverage to shimmy it on. You might have to gently walk it on using the bolts. We've all had to do it at some point. Especially working solo. just go for evenly spaced torque and immediately stop and back em off if you get no...
  12. Clutch install problems!!!

IDK if this is useful but back in the day we used to get some longer than bolts and cut the heads off and then screw them in the top holes to help guide the tranny in. Once you get the tranny seated and some bottom factory bolts in you could then use some channel locks to unscrew the bolts and...
  13. No Lift Shifting?

My experience. I tried a NLS..... once. 6Kish rpm. Sheared off a few driveline bolts. It was covered under warranty, but I won't be trying it again.

  15. Blew a Spark Plug Out!

+1 on the TimeSert. Had to buy a kit when my ford Escape launched a plug. It was pretty easy as long as you follow the instructions and have a air compressor to blow out the chips. End result was nice. Considered doing the other 5 plug threads but never got around to it before my teenager...
  16. Catch cans do they really work? Bullitt

Old thread. I was able to get the gt350 oil separator to fit on the drivers side but took it off as it never had any oil. Even after a track day. Was pretty easy to mod if you want to install one. Tried to link my old post but buggered something up.
  17. 10K update

Haven’t posted in a while- but here’s my 10k check-in. Maintenance: Changed tranny fluid out after a few thousand mile break-in –BG Syncro Shift. Seems to still shift ok, the usual mt-82 snicks when cold, but so far so good. Changed the engine oil for the 3rd time. Checked the oil filter-...
  18. Steeda S550 Mustang Front Roll Center & Bumpsteer Correction Kit (15-19 All)

Sill a little confused. Steeda, when I called before ordering the parts I forgot to ask - like a dummy- if these parts are for magneride. Before I start banging parts off can you confirm? Thanks.
  19. Steeda S550 Mustang Front Roll Center & Bumpsteer Correction Kit (15-19 All)

I have the FP M-5300-W springs on. Lowered 20mm. Not a big drop but did seem to induce some more bump steer. What do you think about the bump steer kit with the tension link for magneride? Worth the effort?
