what were your mods? Do you have a timeslip?
I had intercooler, catback and intake. This was backed up by another 13.2 108 but I don't have the slip anymore

There are countless variables that factor into that trap and ET. On average mid 13's are repeatable.

Mid 13's? With that whole package?

That's what a stock EBM runs on street tires.

As far as your insinuation, if there was a proliferation of unsafe tunes you would think a tuner's faster cars would be the ones to let go, but that doesn't see to be the case. Hell, look at Lund throwing the kitchen sink at the UPR car. Adam has no failures in his fast cars....must be simple mathematics. The more you tune, the more likely you will have your tune on a failure. Furthermore, stock cars area popping. A little logic allows us to see a slight trend here..

Nonetheless, people know where to get tuned for performance and where to get tuned so they can run the same times that they could stock.

What's going on over at Livernois? You guys seem to be slippin'.

You two cannot be serious. Given Livernois' reputation and the size of their operation I'm without a doubt that they have tuned more cars than tune+ or Unleashed. This forum is not representative of the real world, the ppl who actively participate on this internet forum are heavily influenced by who is marketing the most on this forum and it's quite obvious who that is
They must all be hermits. I'm on no less than 6 Ecoboost Mustang related groups/sites and, well, it's Lund, Unleashed, or Tune+.

Hell, Lexi is the only one who has done anything with a Livernois tune...but she's flying a flag.

I agree the forum is not representative of the real world, so it would be cool for Livernois to back up their claim with some numbers regarding how many mustang ecos they've tuned. Reputation and size of overall operation aren't enough for me to just fill in the blanks as a customer. I respect technical specs and repeatably proven results.

So yes, I am completely serious when I say I think it would be fair for them to give more specifics around their claim when they make it sound like its a unique feat that only they will ever be able to do. For all we know, they could just be super lucky from having less customers. I'm not saying they are. I am saying I don't know for sure one way or the other and would like to.

Is that not fair to ask as a possible consumer of the product?

If you pay attention to what Jamie said in this thread then you would see that he is advertising safe, reliable daily driver tuning. Not race tuning although they do offer it. Customers looking for that kind of safe tuning are not the ones who will be all over the forums posting up time slips

I hope you're kidding. How many people are going to rewrite the brain of a car and not be public on some sort of enthusiast forum or group. They're all those normal everyday people just looking for those safe daily driver tunes... so they buy an SCT tuner from Livernois. Lol

You either buy a pro tune or you don't.

Those ppl you're talking about are much more likely to be the ones who bought the Cobb Accessport for the mass produced tunes and never post anywhere

There is no doubt this forum is very bias towards Adam but that's because he is constantly on this forum and constantly doing things for the community as a whole. Like Hig said earlier it's either Adam, Torrie or Lund on every forum not LMS. LMS has not tuned near the ecoboost engines that Adam has. I don't even use Adam, I'm just stating the obvious..

GTFO with that nonsense. Hell, you don't even have a dog in the fight. Worried that your ultra safe DD super tune would blow your shit up?

He has officially been banished from speaking Eco. Can I stay because I have a turbo?

You guys are being incredibly delusional. How many people post on the forum who have BAMA tuning? But I bet they outnumber any of the tuners you mentioned just because of the size of their operation and the number of people who will just go on American Muscle and buy their tuning while buying other parts. The internet in general is not representative of the population of people who buy mustangs and modify them.

The fact that I decided to upgrade is completely irrelevant. If I had a 2015/2016 build I would have stayed but only for another year because I planned to get a 2018 anyway.

I'm glad it was Livernois tuned though because my engine may very well have already blown running someone else's tuning

This forum may be a poor cross section, but other social media is not. The average consumer is very savvy to social media sites like Facebook. They may not be on the Ecoboost specific pages, but I see them on the regional Mustang clubs and other related pages.

Your statement tells all. You think you were driving a time bomb. This hysteria is a joke. This whole "safest tune" crap is a joke. People are going to grenade motors. How many Coyotes went in the first year? Hell, I bet if you count how many EBM's that were tuned and grenaded it might sink in...many have been stock or bolt-ons only.

I have run my car ragged with two of what can honestly be considered the top 3 tuners and 1 that was not so much for "testing" purposes. The only person who hasn't tuned my car is Lund and I would completely trust his work. If anyone had a chance of blowing a motor because of a tune it would be me. However I sit here after daily driving my car to work today, with all 450whp, on a stock block, and not a worry in my mind.

Bruh...

And to be clear, I'm not saying Livernois tunes are unsafe. I stating that this whole BS about tuned cars being the reason behind the failures is BS.

And the subsequent fear mongering....it's just stupid.
