Early sunset caught me off guard….

P&S brake buster on my tires/rims. - this stuff is”ok” easy, spray it on the rubber and rims and simple scrub, it does ok, but personally i like a little shiny to my rubber so ill use a tire dressing in the light…

Dual bucket method, carpro reset shampoo, (no foam canon this time- not enough time) with an Adams air canon blow dry after…

I do like the carpro reset BUT i feel it does not suds up much… i like a little more suds personally and will more often use Adams mega foam…

Car looks great in the dark, but i know by the light of day ill see spots i missed, plus the air canon works well, but never really gets all the droplet’s off the car, i need to use a drying agent after air drying usually.

Normally, i use P&S bead maker as a drying agent but it was too dark and way too buggy out…
Im going to try P&S Dream maker and spray detail it when it gets light….

Car washing, and lawn cutting, 2 of my favorite chores to do into and after sunset….it makes me feel like i eeked as much daylight time as humanly possible

I feel your pain. When I was wash mine I either have to do it supper early in the morning like I am about to do right now It's 4:41 am lol, Or I have to wait just before dark otherwise the sun just beams down on my driveway the rest of the day. I prefer to do it early in the morning since atleast I won't run out of daylight and I don't have to deal with the bugs. I cut grass yesterday and it's funny the older I get the things I used to enjoy feel more like chores now 😀

I almost always do sunrise washes. I always am nervous exactly what happened with you, it gets dark before I get done... I am paranoid of spots and missed stuff :) But I am sure it will be just fine. Evening washes usually I favor rinseless as it is much quicker and no risk if you miss a spot, it just wipes off really easy..

As for reset not foaming, I find it does really well. In the bucket, you really have to hit it with the pressure washer to suds it up, but it does really well as a rule.. I usually go heavy with it in the bucket and canon both :)

I still have not tried rinseless washes, it seems slick ro do but in my mind i feel like it will scratch the car… i know thats in my head… but i have not done it.

yeah maybe i need more soap, ive used carpro reset a fair amount of times and each time feel it does not suds up enough… but i usually use max suds from adams which is super sudsy so maybe im just expecting too much.
ill just double up on my soap next time.

And yeah i love the early washes, such q nice way to wake up with a cup of coffee and a clean car!

I typically do morning washes. My driveway faces west so I get all the hot, afternoon sun. Also not a fan of night washing mostly because of the bugs. I’ve done it on occasion and usually just dry the car in the garage.

I both love and hate black color… it looks so damned good clean, even if it only lasts about 20 minutes lol

I totally get it. My wife’s SUV is black. Just washed both cars today. I washed hers first, parked it in the garage and by the time I was done with mine there was a thin layer of dust on hers 🤦‍♂️

I gotta disagree with the grass mowing comments.
I never liked it when I was young, and damn sure don't now!

Same here, John.

I don't wanna step on The Master's toes John but here's my two cents. Foam aka "suds," is not indicative of the cleaning power of the product. I've never used Adam's soap and I'm sure it's a fine product, but don't judge a soap by the quantity and quality of the foam. The real barometer is how well it removes the dirt and grime and doesn't damage your coating.

I typically do morning washes.
Opposite here, Mark. Our house faces north and the two-story section is at the east end so the house completely blocks the sun in the afternoon and throws a big shadow on the driveway and the vehicle to be washed.

I certainly get it, Ralph but for me, mowing is therapeutic but not so much with the trimming, edging, and blowing. <smile>
