If I went 285/35/19 will I rub or poke out too much? I’m leaning towards 285/35/19 right now for more protection.

what would look more sporty for my car? 285 would offer a slight more protection

I use automated car wash and there’s a wheel rail. So. That would be better just in case it ever hit.

I wouldn’t rub in any of 4 corners? Would it be a large poke or be flush or close on rear? With all 4 sides using spacers

That’s exactly how I want my wheel:rim to look.

Will 275 do that to my 9.5? If I don’t get the same size protection edge for the rim I may go to 285 but I hope it wouldn’t look stupid for my wheel.

Fingers crossed my 275/40/19 has the same edge from rim to wheel.

285's will bulge a bit on a 9.5 wide rim. I think 275 should be your target

Will post results tomorrow. That’s exactly how I want them, I don’t like the stretch look. I guess it’s popular but not for me

Your wheels are weird. 285 is your best bet for rim protection.

Probably you will need to stop using the automatic car wash with those wheels.

This is 275/40r19 on 19x9.5 with +33 offset. It's flush in the rear but does not poke. Right now I'm at stock ride height.

it doesn't hit the outer face, it bumps the inside, but on the off chance It did hit the outside, I want some protection. I will mount the wheels tomorrow and see how it goes. theres a guy on the Facebook group that I cant get to reply with closer photos, but he said this.

he may not see the messages or comments, but he said this and his wheels look normal. 275 on 10 inch wheels. so 275 on my 9.5 damn should work.

The problem isn't whether 275-wide tires will work on a 9.5" wide wheel. It's how well the tire will give your wheel spokes - or the back side flange, for that matter - any protection. I'm not at all sure that your fb contact fully understands what you need to know.

I put 275/40:19 and it was flush with the face

We put 285/35/19 and gave a solid look. Little past face

Ordered a new set 285. Back wheel tested on front and back. Worked no issues

as my wheels are weird as fuck.
they sure are. When you have the tire off measure the thickness of the lip (bead surface to outer lip, with/without the extra spoke protrusion). Those seem awful thick.
