Hi everyone,

I recently ran into the curb with my ecoboost with the 50th anniversary rims.
I was on this site looking to purchase a new one, cause ford charges 850 ish for one rim.
I figured, i could find it cheaper online and came across this site.

But i dented my front driver side rim, and not sure which one to purchase.

http://midwestwheelandtire.com/oem/product/ford-mustang-2015-10037mg-alloy-wheel-rim (this one is 9.5)

http://midwestwheelandtire.com/oem/product/ford-mustang-2015-fr3z1007h-10033s-10033-alloy-wheel-rim (this one is 8.5)

Also I will probably need new tires because they're damaged :frusty: the front and back. Any ideas on what I should do?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance!

A sad fellow 6g lover....

Thank you for your reply, but unfortunately, I'm not in a spot to be dropping that much money and rims..... trying to pay off my student loans...even though I bought this car.... regardless...
I did the math and with the current damage, I will need one rim and 2 pzero tires, probably coming out to 800 or so to buy the rim and have them installed.....

Also could you guys help me buy tires?
What the stock pzero tires that come with the car..
Thank you again in advance.

^^^ This !!

Plus, you realize you're looking at reconditioned wheels on those links right ?!
That means someone else f'd them up & they've been repaired & repainted - no telling how badly they were damaged

I wish I could spend a few thousand on a new set......
But for now that will have to do...I think 850 for a new one is a bit ridiculous and buying a new set will cost roughly 2,000?......

There are wheel repair places all over the United States, find one and get your wheel fixed, usually a 2-3 day turn around for $150 + shipping if no local shops.

^^^^ This. Depending on the amount of damage many can do the repair on-site in just a couple of hours and under $200. Just google "wheel repair portland" and a bunch come up.

Hi Guys,

Sorry I forgot to mention the rim is beyond repair....
As you can see in the photo.

I've decided to for now just get a refurbished rim and some pzero from a neighborhood and then take it in to get it all fitted and aligned.
Roughing it about 600 to 800.....

Thank you again and I hope no one else experiences what this...

Ouch! You really slammed that wheel!

It is the 33S one that you want (2nd link) that comes with the 50th appearance package. The first one (37MG) is the one for the 50th anniversary Limited Edition, which is GT only and 1964 were made.

Was there any damage to the suspension after that incident? Judging from that wheel damage, it's likely. I advise you to have your suspension checked as well buddy.

Thanks guys and yeah I will have them take a look at my suspension, but yeah should've just gotten a civic basic model instead, but I got a bonus from my previous job and said fuck it.
Regardless thank you guys for your help!
I looked on the wheel forum, and have yet to find what I need, not many people sell the 50th and when they do it sells pretty fast.

I didn't notice you had 50th anniversary rims. 19" ? If funds are tight and aren't prone to OCD, you could just buy a non-matching rim on tirerack, or retail, such as Discount Tire Co. Probably $160 for a rim, $160 for a tire, and some extra for TPMS? $350 total, plus tax, and possibly labor. Then you can shop for a proper rim in a more leisurely manner, and as funds permit.

edit: just noticed you need two new tires :faint:

8.5" wide is the one you have if you want to replace it. All 50 AP cars had 8.5" 19" rims, 9.5" one was Limited Edition and I believe it had darker tint than 50AP.
