I got my USB stick from Ford today with latest update, will give it a go tomorrow while I mow the yard.

Holy crap am I pissed, the ****show that is ford updates struck once again. Tried for an hour and it immediately errors out with lst_err05 and doesn't even try to update. Tried multiple USB ports and even copying the files off the ford USB stick to one I have and no luck. Guess I will have to wait until next week to call.

Interestingly enough in the instructions it says sync 3.4 is a pre-req and I'm on 3.3.

for the last 20 min or so of my update yesterday, i was sitting there and looking at the IAT's climbing to 135 and 136 degrees, i just drove around the block a few times and down the street and back..

Logged into the Ford site and I had the option to download a complimentary update for the car (mind you, I used this about three weeks ago and the option had disappeared before I ordered the USB stick). I am in the process of downloading the files from Ford, we'll see how that goes.

I don't know if the Ford site can be trusted. A couple of days ago, it showed my Sync could be updated to 3.3 ....ahhh I am already 3.3.

Today it shows this:

Your SYNC system will be updated to Gen2 - V1.1

Mine is showing the same thing......of course, this is after I also paid for the Ford USB to be shipped. It was not an option before.

When I checked this morning I finally got the option to download or buy. I'm currently in pass #4 of a NSA level erasure on my USB drive. After that we download and go from there. I'll post up the files when I can.

The site always says that. What is your build #? 19052 is the latest. The Gen2 crap is really the latest 3.3 update. Someone here already did it.
