Map Update

Hi All,

I've just updated my sync 3 system through USB and i want to update my maps. The update went ok and it came on the screen to say so. It hasn't given me the xml file to upload back to Ford so they wont let me move to update my maps. Is there anyway around this?

Watching with interest - I have the exact same issue (if your interested do a search om my posts from yesterday)

Hope you get it sorted But in some respects its nice not to be the only one with this problem ... lol

Is there a new map update, or you guys still talking about version 1.19??? And I didn't know you needed to update Sync before being able to update maps. Last time I did update maps first, and the only issue that arose was that the new version didn't show on 'about sync'. So when I updated sync to 3.4, I had to update the maps again, and then it showed 1.19.

I have never updated my maps and the car is 3yr old so i have no clue what version it is sorry pal

We are the U.K. map version and we are currently on F9 - although I’m stuck on F8 ...

Ford U.K. will only allow a map update following them confirming the sync release number (by upload of an xml file that the car generates - or not ... lol)
