Logged into the Ford site and I had the option to download a complimentary update for the car (mind you, I used this about three weeks ago and the option had disappeared before I ordered the USB stick). I am in the process of downloading the files from Ford, we'll see how that goes.
same.. i downloaded them on the 6-29 the day they were available.. had some issues, then went to download them again on 7-01, after putting in my vin/esn on the page, i was prompted to buy, not download..

and just because you mentioned this.. i checked again, now 7-03, and i can download them again

Here are the files I have in my syncmyride folder for 1.18

Screen Shot 2020-07-03 at 12.57.02 PM.webp
same files i got from my supposed 1.19 download..

hrm.. Bikeman315, do you still have the "sync32.zip" from your 1.18 install? what was the folder name packed in the zip that contained the "SyncMyRide" folder, autoinstall.lst and dontindex.msa? inside the zip folder i have that i just recently downloaded on the 29th has a folder name of "19Q1_NA_Post-3.2_2ndRelease"

i wonder if all that i went through and i was just installing the same 1.18 over top of the existing 1.18.. lol

I have the file but cannot seem to unzip it. Will keep trying. By the way if you are running 3.3 your "about sync" screen should say 1.17 even if you have 1.18. If it says 1.18 either Ford fixed the error or you might have 1.19. I'm so confused at this point.

That sounds like Sync 3.4 indeed. Sync 3.3 is up to version 19052 (which I have), not 19323. How stupid can they be? Geez.

As a side comment, it was my understanding map updates were always every 2 years, so the next one should have been 1.20, not 1.19. Not sure what the heck was really updated. Does anybody have at least a summary of the supposed updates? At least my car updated successfully, although I still have to test voice commands, to be fully sure I don't have any issues. Seems like QC is really a problem within Ford everywhere.

This is what I show. Maybe I really do need to download and install the Gen2 crap lol.

The site always says that. What is your build #? 19052 is the latest. The Gen2 crap is really the latest 3.3 update. Someone here already did it.

EDIT: i havent downloaded the files again, because i didnt want to "use my one and only upgrade" just to see if it was the same files.. i'll wait a bit longer for some others to chime in but starting to look like i updated 1.18 with 1.18... no wonder the version # didnt change!

I did not download anything but checked the Ford site again, and now it says this:
A software update is available.
Your SYNC system will be updated to SYNC3 v3.2

Now that is crazy, when I already have v3.3.

I don't trust any of these downloads at this point. I'm going to see if it does anything just because lol......and then I will see what the USB does when it arrives.

The nav update site was definitely updated. I was able to re-order the update! I'm re-downloading everything now. I'll report back!

Nope this is the download for 1.19. But the is a new file in there from 3/20. That’s around when Cyanlabs updated 3.4. I’m more hopeful now.
