You're the first to claim 1.19; that's weird, but maybe Ford fixed whatever the issue was. Hey, you didn't specify if your own USB or Ford's $40 one; please let us know. If Ford fixed the problem, wonder how are they going to fix it for us. Hmmm.

It was my own USB. The trick is that the license file was updated from version CD on Monday to version CE on Tuesday.

i dont believe he ever said that his sync showed 1.19.. i believe he said that he successfully installed 1.19..

Interesting. My license version went from CB to CC. Map update in progress as I type this. Thanks Ed for noticing the license update. This appears to be the fix we have all been waiting for!!

Credit where credit is do. JAJ found this over on the GT350 thread, Upgrading to Sync 3.4. I just told Ed about and boom, success, maybe. Need to know what version of a Sync he is running. You have to presume that if he knows he has 1.19 he can see it on his screen.

I used the USB from Ford. My system did a 3.0 upgrade from my phone first, then did the USB upgrade.
I turned on the auto update setting and it immediately grabbed my hotspot and began the sync update.
The second it fiished, it started the Nav update.
Total time was about 1.5 hours. I was driving around the whole time.

whos the first person that can show a screenshot of their nav version showing NA1.19?

curious only because i downloaded the files, installed them, and my sync screen still shows 1.18.. then 2 days later when everyone was downloading their files again.. i downloaded the files again did a bit by bit comparison.. same files i downloaded the first time. so no reason to install it again..

if some are showing the updated version then you'd think everyones should.. so if thats the case then i guess i need to get back on the phone with tech support so i can understand why my version # never updated when others did

OK, so this confirms that the current USB works for 3.0. Need Ed to confirm his version. Feel like we are finally on track.

Wade, what version did you have before you updated. There was a bug in 3.3 that prevented it from showing 1.18 so even though you had them your screen showed 1.17.
