New GT Window Catches on Seal

On both the driver and passenger side the window always catches on the seal when opening the door. Is this normal? I'll attach a video in the morning.

Hold both window switches down down till you hear the click.Then roll them both up. Holding till you hear the click.

It's been known to happen, but I haven't experienced it personally with the two S550s I have owned.

You might need an adjustment, but
this bit of advice from the GT350 Forum might be helpful in the meantime...

“Unlatch the door while keeping the door closed using your thumb on the fixed part of the door handle. Once unlatch, open the door slightly until the window drops down, then open all the way. Using this process, the window cannot get hung up on the door seal.”

It is something you will get used to over time. My 2020 GT does it. Like Bran said, if you open the door too fast, it will catch.
I do the following:
I wrap my four fingers around the door latch handle and then put my thumb on the fixed door handle portion. Next, I open the door slightly to the point where the window goes down, but the door still looks like it is closed. Then, once the window drops about a 1/4 inch, I open the door fully. This should work.

Even BMWs have this issue if you open the door faster than the window can drop down.

Also, don't forget you can roll the windows down with the key (hit the unlock button twice, and then hold it down).

So wait does everyone have this problem so is it worth doing the window reset thing? I tried the simple down click up click but it didnt help. I was going to do the entire process in the thread linked above but if it isn't going to help I'll just open it more carefully.
