Drivers side window catching on seal (Video)

So the window the ENTIRE window regulator assembly and motor has been replaced and it is no longer catching. BUT the window seal has been damaged from it catching... So if you have this same problem make sure to check the window seal for air and water leaks after the initial fix straight away.

So was the original damaged in some way - did they explain anything or just fix and send you on your way?

it has taken a long time to get to this point, I have documented this and discussed it with the service manager. Have not heard back yet.
The upper seal looks to have been pulled on long enough due to the window catching on it that the window when fully closed does not fit tight causing small gaps to leak air and moisture along the top of the window.

Mine is doing the same thing. Just posted n your YouTube vid. Did this since day one. How did you fix it. Also only on driver side.

I had the same problem of the window catching on seal. I went to dealer yesterday. They removed the door panel, adjusted the height of the glass and problem fixed. The glass was simply too high in the seal when the door was closed. They ordered a new door metal trim to replace the original that has been damaged by the glass hitting it every time I was oppening the door. Hope this helps!

Any ideas as to how they adjusted the height of the glass?

Just to add to this. I was having this same issue on my 16 GT PP. Dealer replaced the window regulator, re initialized everything and this issue is now gone. They replaced this part per the recommendation of Ford.

I was hoping for a DIY - otherwise it's "another trip to the Dealer" and we all know how those work out, warranty or not...
