I really hope they offer this in a Z-28 Camaro with a manual transmission behind it. If it's within my reach financially it would be a must-have.

The Z06 sounds fun but DCT 🤢 🤢 🤢 :brokenheart:

DCT is where it’s at. I’ll probably never be interested in a manual transmission in a modern car again.

Hopefully there's a model that gets this engine in 2023 or beyond. I might even buy a Cadilac if they put this engine with a manual transmission behind it in there. Probably not, but maybe.

I'll never be interested in anything except a manual. Even exotic cars like Ferraris and Porsches equipped with DCTs and other automatics are way too boring to drive as a commuter car.

nothing but a rumor. and THIS gen may well be over in '23. Doesn't mean there won't be a spin-off from the Caddy. They are built in the same facility, maybe even same line. A Z28 with this motor would be perfect, I agree. Though I'm not sure I could justify the 80,000 price point. The DCT is an unfortunate side-effect of rear-engine packaging.

My son and I both signed up on the list at Ciocca today. Had to give them a $2000 deposit, but what the hell! Car will be sold at MSRP. I just have to hope I get it while I can still drive.
